November 11 - Veterans Day, originally Armistice Day
November 27 - Thanksgiving, 4th Thursday in November
November 28 - Day after Thanksgiving
We will be open on November 4th, election day. Montgomery County schools will be closed because so many of them serve as polling places. Yours? (check your registration and polling location )
November is also American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. Montgomery County will host a special celebration November 8, from 10 AM to 5 PM, in the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville. Crafts, lectures, native food.
We will have our own celebration on the evening of November 3rd, when Eaglebear returns.

The library now closed is the Takoma Neighborhood Library (a DC Public Library branch) which is located at 5th and Cedar Streets NW, DC
The building is a lovely 1911 Carnegie library - one of 4 that were built in DC.
