Join us on Monday, November 7 at 7:30 pm in the Community Center Auditorium where two superstar kids' authors -- Eoin Colfer and Jonathan Stroud -- spotlight their newest books. Colfer will be introducing Iron Man: The Gauntlet, Stroud will be showcasing The Creeping Shadow.
Why are some programs at 7 pm and others a bit later at 7:30? The picture book authors or illustrators are usually scheduled for 7, the authors introducing their books for older children at 7:30.
Calling all fairy tale enthusiasts! We'll be having a Fairy Tale Party on Sunday, September 18 from 2-3:30. Enjoy stories, crafts, and snacks. Wear your favorite fairy outfit or fairy tale inspired getup!
Kids of all ages are invited. Crafts will be most appropriate for 3 and up.

Our next shared MOOC! Culture and Language - slogans, books, monuments and images. 12 lectures, 12 lecturers.
The class is officially called "Cultural Studies and Modern Languages: an Introduction". It comes via Futurelearn from the University of Bristol, begins September 12th, and looks great.
