For Children:

Every Tuesday 10 a.m. OR 11 a.m. Circle Time for children from birth through age five. No need to register just come to the Children's Room in the library.

Every Thursday 10 a.m. Spanish Circle Time for children from birth through age five. No need to register, just come to the Children's Room in the library.

Please come to our Bedtime Stories event one Monday evening each month at 7 p.m. Kids of all ages are welcome to come in their p.j.s and bring their pillows, blankets and stuffed favorites. Check the Children's Room blog on the library website for the exact date each month. No need to register, just come.

We also have special programs scattered throughout the year featuring some of the best DC area storytellers, morris dancers, Chris Phillips and his Café for Socrates, Tomás Eaglebear, and many others. For most of these we ask you to register in advance.

For Adults:

Book discussions are sponsored by the Friends, anyone is welcome to attend any session, and no membership is necessary. For exact dates, times, and the current book please check the Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library web site. We occasionally post supplementary information and links on the library's books blog.
