African-American Tourism
Looking for something other than the usual museums? Look through the
African American Heritage Trail database which has over 200 entries. You are not limited to February.
And even if you think it too cold to leave the house, just browsing through the entries is enlightening. Do you know about the role James Reese Europe played in our musical history? Who owned the land on which Fort Stevens was built? The story of Charlotte Dupuy?
