Big Book Club begins discussions of 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez with a lecture and reception at Historic Takoma. Subsequent discussions take place at Takoma Park Community Center on April 3 and 17, and May 1. Books available at the Library.

Cien Años de Soledad

Col. Aureliano Buendía artist: Marco Cabras100 Years of Solitude has been selected for the spring sessions of the Big Book Club.

We have several print copies in English translation. Ask at the desk. Why should you read it? See the video below.

This is not a long book. Circa 420 to 490 pages depending on edition, 14 hours for the audio.
