Children's Play

Some experts believe that children’s play – the old-fashioned, unstructured kind of play – is vanishing as children get busier and busier with scheduled activities. Come to the library on Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. to watch a special PBS program, Where Do the Children Play?, and then participate in a discussion on the issue. If you've already seen the documentary (it recently aired on PBS), join us at 8 p.m. for the discussion and some refreshments. Note: this program is aimed at adults. Please keep the youngest children at home so we can focus on the program.
