'Tis the season to celebrate the beginning of winter. Come join us on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 7:15 p.m. for the library's popular annual Winter Solstice Celebration. As usual, drummer and ethnomusicologist Bill Jenkins will open our program. He'll be followed by the merry band of Foggy Bottom Morris Men. No need to register, just come!
Kids, come to the library on Monday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. to make gifts for family and friends. We'll begin by reading a holiday story or two and then start making gifts. Kids ages five and up will enjoy making these gifts, but younger children also are most welcome with adult helpers.
