Bedtime Stories will be held on our usual Monday night in November. Because of the election on the 5th, the program will not be on Tuesday as originally planned.
Get comfy cozy November 4 at 7!

Well, I cried four minutes in. Be warned. This is heavy and upsetting stuff.
As the proud mother of a 35 weeker who spent only a little over a week in the NICU, this Radiolab program about the NICU experience was powerful for me. I recommend it to everyone, because as prepared as I thought I was for a baby, I knew nothing about the NICU. My experience was nothing like this but it still resonates for me.
Our next Bedtime Stories storytime will be Monday, October 7 at 7:00. We will be hearing new stories from two favorites: Emily Gravett and Peter Brown and sharing songs and action rhymes.
Wear your pajamas if you like!
As the Takoma Park Maryland Library’s new librarian, I have enjoyed leading the last two Bedtime Stories programs. For some variety in scheduling we are offering the program on Tuesday nights in November and December. Bedtime Stories will start at 7:00 on November 5 and December 3. Make sure you mark it on your calendar! We don’t know yet what 2014 will bring but we will be sure to let you know.
