John Green Livestreamed

Join us at the Tk Pk City auditorium on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. to watch YA star author John Green -- live-streamed from Carnegie Hall! We're partnering with Politics & Prose Bookstore to sponsor a live-streaming of "An Evening of Awesome." This is an event hosted by John Green, author of the best-selling teen book The Fault in Our Stars, and his brother Hank Green, original creator of the Green Brothers' "Nerdfighters " website. The actual "Evening of Awesome " will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York City and is sold-out. But the program, which will include surprise visits by other authors and music by the Mountain Goats, will be live-streamed, and so we'll be showing it on the big screen in Takoma Park's Community Center auditorium. Come and gather with other John and Hank Green fans -- and other "Nerdfighters "!-- to enjoy this unique program. Politics & Prose will be selling books at the program, but no purchase is necessary to attend. Spaces are limited, however, so registration is required. You must register online; to register, go to:
