On June 24, 2008, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 6700 block of Eastern Avenue for reports of an armed robbery. The victim was outside of his residence when a black male wearing a black or dark-hooded jacked approached him with a handgun with a long barrel and demanded property. The victim complied, and after taking the property, the suspect fled on foot down Eastern Avenue towards Second Avenue. The area was tracked by K9 with negative results.
