On November 16, 2008, at approximately 9:13 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 6800 block of Eastern Avenue for reports of a strong arm robbery. The victim was attempting to enter a secure door with a key when she was approached from behind. The suspect grabbed property and fled on foot towards Eastern Avenue heading towards New Hampshire Avenue. A second suspect remained in the parking lot. The suspect who grabbed property is described as a black male, slim build, approximately 6’0, late teens, wearing a mask and dark clothing. The second suspect can only be described as a black male with no further identifying information. A K-9 track was conducted with negative results. The victim was not seriously injured.
