As a result of the rain today and rain predicted for Friday, WSSC's contractor has requested and received permission from the State Highway Administration to continue milling this weekend.
The work area will be on Carroll Avenue from Lee Avenue to Westmoreland Avenue. Once milling is completed, the contractor will repair the road base and then resurface the road.
WSSC had previously indicated that the contractor would be working at night, but so far they have not scheduled any night time work.
