On July 28, 2009, at approximately 9:59 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 600 block of Jackson Avenue for reports of an attempted residential burglary that had occurred earlier that day between the hours of 9:05 a.m. and 9:22 a.m. The victim arrived home to find the screen to the bathroom window at the rear of the house with a slit down the middle and the screen to the front window was badly bent and discarded at the side of the house. Entry was not made and property was not taken. There is no suspect information. Investigation continues under case #09041507.
