On July 23, 2009, at approximately 3:44 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7200 block of Spruce Avenue for reports of a residential burglary that had occurred earlier that day between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The victim stated they arrived home at approximately 2:00 p.m. but did not notice their home had been burglarized until later. The victim noticed an open window in the basement that had been closed prior to their departure from home and property that was missing. There is no suspect information.
