On July 6, 2009, the Takoma Park Police Department's Tactical Enforcement Unit (TEU) were on routine patrol when they spotted two wanted fugitives in the area of Sligo Creek Parkway, Takoma Park, Maryland. Both subjects are wanted for homicide and attempted homicide in Prince George’s County, Maryland. One of the subjects has been captured. The other subject has barricaded himself in an apartment on Aspen Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland. Further information will be released when it is known.
