On July 3, 2009, at approximately 11:13 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7900 block of Carroll Avenue for reports of a residential burglary that had occurred sometime during the night while the victim was inside his residence sleeping. The victim stated he arrived home at 3:00 a.m. and went to sleep until approximately 10:30 a.m. When he awoke, he discovered his kitchen window was open and property was taken, including his vehicle. There is no suspect information. The victim’s vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as stolen. Investigation continues under case #09036229.
