On July 2, 2009, at approximately 2:07 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7800 block of Lockney Avenue for reports of a fight coming from the first floor apartment. Upon arrival, officers heard a female screaming and a male voice yelling. The victim, who resides with Murtie, was assaulted by him.
