T1 Beat:
Robbery/Carjacking
An armed robbery/carjacking occurred Friday, May 29 at 11:45 p.m. in the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue. The victims were exiting their vehicle and spotted a dark minivan parked in the middle of the street. The minivan pulled up to the victims and an occupant exited and asked for directions. Suspect 1 forcibly removed one victim’s wallet and demanded vehicle keys from the other victim. The suspects then fled in the minivan and the victim’s 2009 Silver Scion XD 4-door. Officers later recovered a dark blue Dodge Caravan (later determined stolen) with DC tags nearby. S1: B/M, mid-20’s, 6’0”, short dread locks. S2: B/M, 16-19 years of age, 5’9”, small build, short dread locks.

400 block of Boston Avenue, between Thursday, May 28 at 12:00 p.m. and Friday, May 29 at 5:00 a.m. Forced entry. Property taken.
500 block of Margaret Avenue, Saturday, May 30 between 4:45 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. Forced entry. Property taken.
7300 block of Baltimore Avenue, Saturday, May 30 between 5:50 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Forced entry. No property taken.

Residential Burglary
8100 block of Carroll Avenue, Sunday, May 31 at 12:50 a.m. Attempt forced entry. No property taken. Defendant attempted to enter residence through basement window while occupants at home. An adult male was arrested and charged with Attempt 4th Degree Burglary.
Arrests:
On Thursday, May 28 at 2:49 a.m. in the 900 block of University Boulevard, an adult male was arrested and charged with transporting a handgun in vehicle and possession of a handgun with an obliterated serial number.
On Sunday, May 31 at 3:21 p.m. in the 7700 block of Garland Avenue, two adult males were arrested and charged with Auto Theft, Theft over $500, Conspiracy to Commit Auto Theft, Providing False Name to Uniformed Officer, and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
On Monday, June 1 at 9:52 a.m. in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, two adult males were arrested and charged with drinking in public.
On Monday, June 1 at 1:09 p.m. in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged for urinating in public.
On Monday, June 1 at 5:15 p.m. in the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, four adult males were arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana and drinking in public.
On Tuesday, June 2 at 1:23 p.m. in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with Theft under $500.
On Tuesday, June 2 at 4:25 p.m. in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with drinking in public, Possession of Open Container, and Resisting Arrest.
