On May 11, 2009, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6700 block of Eastern Avenue, at approximately 3:30 p.m., for reports of a burglary that had occurred earlier in the day some time between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The victim arrived home to find her home ransacked. The front door to the residence had been kicked in and a rear basement door was also open. There is no suspect information. Property was taken. Investigation continues under case #09025070.
