On April 16, 2009, at 6:13 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7200 block of Trescott Avenue for reports of a residential burglary that had occurred earlier in the day. The victim advised that she arrived home at approximately 6:00 p.m. and noticed broken property on her front porch. Upon opening the door to her residence, it became apparent that her home had been burglarized. Access was gained through a rear window of the enclosed porch/sunroom that was smashed in.
