COMMUNITY ADVISORY - Armed Robbery in the District (weapon brandished)

On January 24, 2009, at approximately 8:30 p.m., District of Columbia Police responded to 110 Carroll Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., to the CVS store parking lot for reports of a citizen armed robbery (this address is just across the D.C. line). The victim was sitting inside her vehicle when two subjects walked up to her vehicle. The first subject knocked on the window and demanded that she roll it down and then demanded property. The victim complied. The subject then displayed a silver handgun and demanded more property. Both subjects then fled on foot eastbound on Willow Street, NW. The victim was not injured. The subjects are described as:

(1) black male, in his early 20’s, unknown height and weight, light complexion with dread locks, wearing a green jacket, a blue hoodie, blue jeans, and armed with a silver handgun; and

(2) black male, in his early 20’s, unknown height and weight, last seen wearing a red jacket.
