A Message from the Chief of Police:
If you observe a water main break, please contact the police department immediately so that we may inform WSSC, State Roads and Public Works. It is imperative that the police department be involved so that it may assist with any road closures for hazardous areas, citizen safety and to be able to get the proper authorities on the scene to treat the area with sand, salt or whatever they deem necessary to control the flow of traffic and the safety of citizens. Please call our non-emergency number of 301-270-1100. If it is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
