On January 5, 2009*, at approximately 3:10 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of Piney Branch Road for reports of a burglary that had occurred earlier in the day some time between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., when the victim arrived home. The unknown suspect threw a rock through the rear sliding glass door to gain entry. Property was taken. There were no injuries. A K9 track was conducted with negative results.
