On December 20, 2008, at approximately 5:53 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to Westmoreland Avenue and Walnut Avenue for reports of an armed robbery. The victim advised that she was walking home from the metro when three black males approached her at the above location and robbed her with a small dark handgun. The first subject is described as a black male, approximately 6’0, wearing a dark coat and a black ski mask armed with a small dark handgun. The second subject is described as a black male wearing a white coat and a black ski mask. The third subject is described as a black male wearing a black ski mask. The victim was not injured. Property was taken. A K-9 track was conducted with negative results. The subjects were last seen running up Walnut Avenue towards Eastern Avenue. Investigation continues under case #08075630.
