FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chief Ronald A. Ricucci from the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrests of Temu Brown, 31, of Takoma Park, Maryland, and Corey Yates, 19, of Silver Spring, Maryland, for the armed robbery that occurred on December 16, 2008, at Peter’s Sub Shop, 7603 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland. Brown and Yates have both been charged with Armed Robbery, First Degree Assault, Robbery, Theft, and Use of a Handgun in the Commission of a Felony. Both subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Detention Center, where they both are being held on Bond (amount unknown at this time). Investigation led police to Brown and subsequently, with the help of the Cambridge Police Department, to Yates.
The Chief, Detectives and Officers of the Takoma Park Police Department would like to convey a special thanks to the Cambridge Police Department for their assistance in the arrests.
