On December 15, 2008, Takoma Park Police responded to Philadelphia Avenue for reports of a residential burglary that had occurred earlier in the day. The victim advised that some time between the hours of 6:00 AM and 3:05 PM someone entered her residence and took property. Access was gained through broken glass from the rear basement door. It is believed the suspect then exited the residence through the front door, which was left open. The victim did not enter the home prior to calling police. Upon arrival, officers conducted a K9 track of the area with negative results. There were no injuries. There is no suspect information at this time. Investigation continues under case #08074335.
