The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for Montgomery County from Tuesday Evening though Wednesday Morning. A low pressure system is expected to develop and ride along a stalled cold front. Significant ice accumulations are possible out of this system as colder air rushes in behind the front. Travel may become hazardous Tuesday evening though the rush hour commute Wednesday Morning.
Residents should begin Winter Storm preparations which should consider the potential of significant ice accumulations within the next 48 hours. Power outages may be possible. Please remain alert for the issuance of any warnings.
