On September 16, 2008, at approximately 4:28 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7800 block of Kennewick Avenue for reports of a burglary that had occurred earlier in the day. The victim indicated she had left the residence at approximately 10:00 a.m., and upon her return at around 4:20 p.m., she noticed that the window and door to her roommate’s bedroom had been left ajar which was unusual.
