Throughout the month of August, eleven (11) thefts from vehicles occurred in North Takoma. Nearly all incidents occurred between Friday and Sunday during overnight hours (7:00 PM – 10:00 AM). Suspect(s) gained entry by opening unlocked vehicle doors or by breaking rear vent windows. Targeted vehicles included three Toyota and three Honda products. In most recent incidents, suspect(s) ransacked the interior of the vehicle(s) and fled without taking property. At this time, there is no suspect information.
