On July 22, 2008, at approximately 10:06 p.m., units responded to the 7400 block of Cedar Avenue for reports of a strong armed robbery. The victim was walking northbound on Cedar Avenue when she was approached by two subjects from behind. One of the subjects grabbed her purse and then both fled on foot. One of the subjects is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, wearing black clothing with a short afro hairstyle. Investigation continues under case #08042912.
