On June 20, 2008, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 900 block of Jackson Avenue for reports of a burglary that had occurred earlier in the day. The victims left their residence on June 14 at approximately 2:00 p.m. and returned on June 20 at approximately 4:45 p.m. Upon entry, the victims found their home had been ransacked. Several screens on the lower windows of the residence had been removed. The victims’ vehicle was also taken, but recovered on Garland Avenue. It is unknown at this time what property from the residence was taken. Investigation continues under case #08036040.
