On June 20, 2008, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7700 block of Carroll Avenue for reports of an armed robbery. The victim was in her driveway when a black male, approximately 5’10-5’11, 140 lbs., 18-19 years of age, wearing a navy blue zip-up sweatshirt and blue jeans, approached her from behind with a black semi-auto handgun. The suspect demanded property, to which the victim complied. After taking property, the suspect fled on foot towards Carroll Avenue. The area was tracked by K9 with negative results.
