Chief Ricucci of the Takoma Park Police Department announced a new crime initiative which has begun and will run from June 16 until June 20, from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. This initiative will address quality of life issues in Sector 3/Ward 6 of the Langley Park area. As a result of recent events in that area, and the requests from citizens and business owners, this crime initiative has been started. Our goal is to reduce crime and make the area safe for our residents.
