On June 6, 2008, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7500 block of Maple Avenue for reports of an armed robbery. The victim was approached by two black males demanding property. The first suspect is described as a black male, between the age of 17 and 19, approximately 5’8, 160 lbs., wearing a black ski mask with the eye/mouth cut out, blue jeans, black shoes, black vest with a zipper, carrying a black semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, between the age of 17 and 19, approximately 5’6, 155 lbs., short twists in his hair, wearing a multi-colored (red/black/white) woven sweater, carrying a revolver/handgun, possibly gold-toned. After taking property, the suspects fled on foot northbound on Maple Avenue possibly to a waiting vehicle. Investigation continues under case #08032846.
