On May 11, 2008, at approximately 12:26 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7100 block of Cedar Avenue for reports of an armed robbery. The victim was walking to his work van when he noticed a black male looking through his van window. The victim was assaulted by a second suspect and property was demanded. The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’6, medium/dark complexion and long curly hair. Suspect one is also in possession of a semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, medium/dark complexion. The suspects took property and fled in a gold-colored Honda Accord – late 90’s model on Cedar Avenue to Eastern Avenue toward Washington, D.C. The victim was unharmed.
