On April 8, 2008, the Takoma Park Police Tactical Enforcement Unit (TEU) were called out to Montgomery College on Takoma Avenue for reports of suspicious behavior by several subjects. Through investigation, several of the suspects were questioned, photographed and released. Manley Destine, 19, of Takoma Park, Maryland was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Destine was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit for an appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
