On March 14th at approximately 11:34 a.m., units responded to the 7500 block of New Hampshire Avenue for reports of an attempted strong arm robbery. The victim was approached by a black male, approximately 5’6 to 5’8, 18 to 25 years old, wearing all black with braids or twists in his hair. He tried to grab the victim’s cell phone from her hand but she resisted and was pushed to the ground. The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect fled southbound towards the Econo Lodge.
