COMMUNITY INFORMATION - Flood Watch for Montgomery County

The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WATCH for Montgomery County from Tuesday Afternoon through Wednesday Morning. Heavy rains expected that may have the potential to cause severe and unexpected flooding within the next 24 hours.

Strong low pressure system now forming over the lower Miss valley. This system will towards the region tomorrow. Over an inch of rainfall possible in some locations.

Floods kill more people every year than any other weather hazard. Do not drive through flooded areas. As little as 2 feet of water can sweep a vehicle off the road. Please stay alert for any warnings.
