On February 22nd, at approximately 12:03 p.m., units responded to the 1000 block of University Boulevard for the report of an armed robbery that just occurred. The victims were in the rear of a business getting into their vehicle when they were approached by the suspect armed with a silver-colored handgun. The suspect ordered the victims to give him property to which they complied. The suspect then walked to Anne Street, turning south, still displaying the handgun, before walking out of sight. A K-9 track was attempted but was terminated when the K-9 lost the scent of the suspect in the 7900 block of Kennewick Avenue. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, mid to late twenties, approximately 5’10 to 5”11, with a medium build. He was wearing a black stadium-length coat and black jeans. He was also wearing some sort of black mask over his head, showing only his eyes and nose. He was armed with a chrome handgun, possibly a semi-automatic. Investigation continues under case #08010719.
