On February 11th at approximately 9:26 p.m., units responded to the intersection of Albany and Takoma Avenue for reports of a strong arm robbery. An adult male victim was walking home from the Takoma Park Metro Station when he was approached by four subjects (possibly three males and one female) who attacked him and took property. The victim indicated he was struck in the head from behind and knocked to the ground, kicked, punched and robbed. The victim reports that his assailants attempted to drag him into Jequie Park, however, they were unsuccessful. A K-9 responded to track the area with negative results, however, some of the victim’s property was recovered. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault.
