On February 11th at approximately 7:40 p.m., units responded to the 400 block of Elm Avenue for reports of an attempted residential burglary. The victim arrived home and observed a male standing at the side window of her residence. The suspect was attempting to remove a screen from the window to gain entry inside the residence. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled from Elm Avenue towards Sycamore Avenue. A K9 tracked the suspect to the rear of a residence on Ethan Allen Avenue but the suspect was not located. The suspect is described as a male of unknown race wearing a red plaid shirt. Investigation continues under case #08008691.
