Chief Ronald A. Ricucci from the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of David Zackary Williams, 33, of Cheverly, Maryland.
On February 9, 2008, at approximately 11:56 p.m., units in the vicinity of Erskine Street observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Erskine Street. The tags on the vehicle came back as stolen. Williams was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. Williams was charged with Stolen Auto, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
