On January 18, between 10:25 am and 11:40 am in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a vandalism to and theft from auto occurred. A window of the 2007 Nissan Sedan was smashed. Property was taken. 08003608
On January 19 at 4:43 am in the 6500 block of 2nd Avenue, a 2001 Chrysler Sebring was stolen by unknown means. 08003804
On January 18 at 10:08 pm in the 900 block of University Blvd., a strong arm robbery occurred. An adult female was walking to her car when two subjects approached her. One subject who was carrying a stick grabbed the victim’s purse and tried to pull it off her shoulder. The victim struggled to hold onto her purse for a moment, then let it go. The subjects fled on foot. The victim was not injured. The subjects were described as Hispanic males. Suspect one was 5'6", stocky build, wearing a dark jacket, with long dark hair on top of his head and shaved sides. Suspect two was 5'9", thin build, wearing a brown jacket.

On January 19, between 11:05 pm and 12:23 am in the 7500 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a commercial burglary occurred. A window in the front door was kicked in. Property was taken.

Between January 21 at 5:00 pm and January 22 at 6:30 am in the unit block of Grant Avenue, a vandalism to and theft from auto occurred. A window of the 2001 Pontiac Grand Am was smashed. Property was stolen. 08004272
On January 22, between 9:00 pm and 9:10 pm in the 6700 block of Prince George’s Avenue, a residential burglary occurred. A basement door was kicked open. A locked door leading to the rest of the house was also kicked at but entry was not gained. No property was taken. 08004452
Between January 22 at 9:00 pm and January 23 at 7:30 am in the 8000 block of Wildwood Drive, an auto theft was attempted. A window, the ignition and the steering column of the 1997 Honda Accord were damaged. 08004502
On January 24, between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm in the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue, an auto theft was attempted. A door lock and the ignition of the 2005 Dodge Caravan were damaged. 08004900
On January 20 at 3:25pm in the 6400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a theft from auto occurred. While an adult female was paying for gas inside a gas station, her purse was stolen from the passenger seat of her car, which was parked at a pump. A female was seen reaching in through an open window and taking the purse. The thief was described as black, wearing a white scarf with prints and was seen leaving in a blue vehicle. 08004026

On January 18 at 10:49 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for forgery. 08003604
On January 20 at 12:34 pm in the 6600 block of Allegheny Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault. 08003829
On January 19 at 6:46 pm in the 600 block of Houston Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for possession of CDS 08003908
On January 22 at 5:00 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for failure to appear in court for a charge of possession of CDS paraphernalia. 08004269
On January 22 at 12:30 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for driving with a suspended license. 08004319
On January 22 at 4:53 pm in the 8300 block of Roanoke Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS. 08004378
