I am pleased to announce that the Metropolitan Police Chief, Cathy Lanier, has promoted Linda F. Brown to Commander of the Fourth District. I met with Commander Brown today and we look forward to working together on issues of mutual concern. We both want to do what is best for our Takoma Park residents, regardless of which jurisdiction they reside in. Our joint program of Partners on Patrol continues to work well.
