Attempted Armed Robbery
On December 14th at approximately 3:51 p.m., units responded to the 6400 block of 4th Avenue for reports of an attempted armed robbery. The victim was approached by two black males asking for the time. They produced handguns and demanded money. The victim was not harmed and no property was taken. The suspects fled on foot and got into a newer model gray or silver Toyota Corolla, with a spoiler on the rear with an unknown D.C. tag number, driven by a third suspect. The vehicle was last seen heading north on 4th Avenue and west on Alleghany Avenue. The suspects are described as three black males, approximately 18-20 years of age.
