Assault and Attempted Abduction
On November 6th at approximately 11:30 p.m., units responded to the 8000 block of Carroll Avenue just before Merrimack Drive for a report of an assault and attempted abduction. The victim was walking and noticed a vehicle pull along side of her and then continue a short distance in front of her. The suspect exited the passenger side of the vehicle and grabbed the victim attempting to put her in the vehicle. The victim broke free and called police from a business at University Blvd. The victim indicated that there was another individual in the vehicle and both suspects were speaking Spanish with each other. The suspects were last seen eastbound on University Blvd. East. The vehicle is described as a black Nissan X-Terra with a roof rack and push bumper. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’11, 250 lbs., wearing a black nylon zipper warm-up type jacket and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’11, 250 lbs., wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. Investigation continues by TPPD under case #07063000.
