Strong Armed Robbery (handgun used)
On October 21st at approximately 9:53 p.m., units responded to the intersection of Maple Avenue and Tulip Avenue for reports of a strong armed robbery. The victims were sitting outside their vehicle when a white Jeep Cherokee pulled along side of them. One suspect exited the vehicle with a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded property. The second suspect acted as a “look out.” The victims complied with the demands and the suspects re-entered the white Jeep Cherokee and fled down Maple Avenue toward Philadelphia Avenue. A tag number was given by the victim. It was learned that the vehicle was stolen and used in another robbery in Olney, Maryland. Investigation continues by TPPD under case #07059114.
