STRONG ARM ROBBERY
On 8-24 at approximately 8:44 AM, Takoma Park police units responded to the 7400 block of Cedar Avenue. A female resident was walking toward the Metro and was accosted by a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect took the victim’s purse and fled on foot to a waiting vehicle, possibly a silver Lexus SUV in the 200 block of Dogwood Avenue. Suspect and vehicle fled south on Cedar Avenue towards the District of Columbia line. Property was taken. Investigation continues by TPPD under case #07047371.
