Between July 23 at 9:30 pm and July 24 at 6:30 am in the 7800 block of Lockney Avenue, a 1998 Nissan Altima was stolen by unknown means. 07-040715
On July 23 at 9:20 pm in the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue, a strong armed robbery occurred. An adult male was approached by three subjects who asked him for change, then threw him on the ground, searched his pockets and took his wallet. The subjects fled on foot. The victim was not injured. The subjects were described as black males, 19-20 years old. Suspect one was 5'9" - 5'10" medium complexion, heavy build, close cropped black hair, wearing a red tee shirt and white shorts. Suspect two was 5'4", thin build, wearing blue jeans and a black tee shirt. No further description was given. 07-040658
On July 25 at 9:20 pm in the 6700 block of Eastern Avenue, a strong armed robbery was attempted. An adult male was walking when he was grabbed around the neck and pushed to the ground by one of three subjects. One of the subjects yelled for his wallet, but the victim began yelling and the subjects fled on foot. The victim was not injured and no property was taken. The subjects were described as young black males wearing jeans and tee shirts, one shirt was red and white. No further description was given. 07-041153
Between July 25 at 5:45 pm and July 26 at 10:24 am in the 700 block of Hudson Avenue, a 1997 Lincoln Towncar was stolen by unknown means. 07-041245
Arrests:
On July 21 at 12:40 am in the 7500 block of Cedar Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. 07-040090
On July 22 at 9:45 pm in the 7300 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, driving without a license and attempting to elude police. 07-040420
On July 24 at 3:33 am in the 7600 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and failure to stop after an accident involving damage. 07-040700
On July 25 at 9:06 pm at the intersection of Tulip and Sycamore Avenues, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-041124
