On April 13, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm in the 6600 block of Westmoreland Avenue, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Pre
was stolen by unknown means. 07-5206

Between April 13 at 8:30 pm and April 14 at 9:30 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a commercial burglary occurred. The front door was forced open. Property and cash were taken. 07-5243

On April 14, between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm in the 7900 block of Takoma Avenue, a 1996 Chrysler Sebring was stolen by unknown means. 07-5259

On April 15, between 6:46 am and 10:46 am in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a commercial burglary occurred. Entry to the store was gained through a hole that was made in a wall from a hallway. No property was taken. 07-5279

On April 16, between 2:50 pm and 3:00 pm in the 7100 block of Holly Avenue, a 2001 Dodge Stratus was stolen by unknown means. 07-5338

On April 18 at 4:57 pm in the 6400 block of Westmoreland Avenue, an armed robbery occurred. Two adult males were approached by three subjects who pulled up nearby in a late model black Chevrolet Impala. Two of the subjects had handguns. One pointed a handgun at one victim and demanded money. When the victim replied that he had none, the subject hit him, knocking him to the ground, then made the same demand of the second victim. All subjects fled after the second victim handed over his wallet. The victims were not injured. The suspects were described as black males with medium complexions, 18-22 years old, short black hair. Suspect one was 6'1", 160 lbs, medium build, wearing a black and grey jacket and black jeans. Suspect two was 5'8", 170 lbs., medium build, wearing a black jacket, grey shirt and black jeans. Suspect three was 5'3", 120 lbs, small build, wearing a white tee shirt and black jeans. 07-5432

On April 19 at 10:00 pm in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a strong arm robbery occurred. An adult female who had just exited a bus and was walking home, was approached from behind by two subjects who pushed her down, grabbed her purse and fled in a grey vehicle. The victim was not injured. The subjects were described as black males, 6', slim builds, dark complexions, wearing dark jackets. 07-5486

Arrests:

On April 14 at 1:45 am in the 1000 block of University Blvd., an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-5224

On April 14 at 4:02 am in the 7600 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for 4th degree burglary and trespassing in reference to an incident that occurred on January 29, 2006 in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue. 06-9266


On April 15 at 7:02 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of driving while suspended and driving an uninsured vehicle. 07-5290

On April 17 at 12:47 am at the intersection of Erskine Street and New Hampshire Avenue, two adult males were arrested and charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-5361

On April 18 at 7:40 pm in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with drinking alcohol in public. 07-5440

On April 18 at 11:27 pm in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-5443

On April 19 at 2:35 pm in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-5462

On April 19 at 7:25 pm in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with drinking alcohol in public. 07-5482

On April 19 at 7:40 pm in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in public. 07-5483
